These Sauvignon Blanc grapes were machine harvested in the early hours of the morning and pressed in our basket press 12 hours later. This skin contact has enhanced the aroma and brought complexity and texture to the wine. This wine displays aromatics typical of a cool growing season that include cut grass, herbaceous characters and hints of pineapple and tropical fruits. The intense nature of the wine would see it best paired with food. These include fresh goats cheese, oysters with lime or lemon, strongly flavoured poultry and pork.
